Dear Addi,

WOW!! It's hard to believe its almost been a month since i've posted a blog! Extra time in the Vahle household has been little to none. As you may know this coming Wednesday I start production for South Pacific! I am SOOOO excited! However on the other hand this week I will not be seeing you much because of shows and late tech/ dress rehersals... :( Anyways our house has been crazy this last month for me, at least! i've been at practice every night, when at home I have been looking online for some great ideas and/ or testing things out for your birthday, which just happens to be this coming Wednesday!! I can't wait till Sunday when we celebrate your first birthday party and most of all to see you (hopefully) shove your head in your "personal" cake! It's hard to believe that a year ago from Wednesday I was holding you in my arms and meeting you for the first time! Needless to say, I have had very little time to think/ write a blog these past couple of busy, stressful weeks.

Week Number ONE: This was my Spring Break week and your SICK week :( While Iwas down in Macon, GA you were at home with an ear infection.... From the pictures I had recieved on my phone and the conversations I had had with Mommy I could tell you definately WERE'NT feeling good by any means! This Spring Break while I was gone I went to Aunt Bev's in GA. While I was there with Grandma I went shopping (one of your favorites), I had my pictures taken and.... I got a tan. However, throughout the whole week I was missing you and telling Mommy to send me pictures of you even though most of them showed the sick expression which made me upset knowing that you were sick. That Thursday Grandma and I drove home from Georgia and on our waay stopped by Krispy Kreme to get you, Mommy, Grandma, Daddy and I some doughnuts! When we were close to the house I texted Mommy to tell her that we were almost there and then when we pulled into the driveway what did I see? My adorable little sister smiling from ear to ear! I was sooooo happy to see you! However the Brother/ Sister time didnt last long as I packed up again and headed to Gatlinburg, TN where I stayed for two days with cousins, Morgan, Dalton and Nick.

Weekend Number TWO: This weekend was fun and then again not so fun.On this Friday I was picked up from practice by Grandma and Grandpa to head out to Louisville. Now your probably asking "Why didn't Mommy and Daddy pick you up" or" Why am I not going to Louisville with you?" and I'll answer that in just a minute. That Friday night we went to Memaw and Papaw Smiths.While we were there Grandma and I made scrapbook pages and goodies bags. For what? For Mamaw Pogues suprise 80th Birthday Party! Late Friday night after all things that needed to be done were done we went to bed. We woke up the next morning and went straight to the church to begin decorating for the party. It was a beautiful setup! While waiting for Mamaw Pogue I impatiently waited for you, Daddy, Mommy, Lyndi, Randy Angela, Katie and Connor to arrive. And you did..... about 5 minutes before Mamaw Pogue! HAHA! No matter what the party turned out wonderful and Mamaw was by far suprised!! It was great to see all the family from out of town that we don't see that much like... Aunt Beverly, Uncle Dave, Kim, Monica, Jennifer, The Deatons, The Maglingers, and SOO many others!! That night was SOO much fun!! While you and Mommy stayed at Mamaws with Katie and Connor. Daddy and I went to Thunder Over Lousiville with David Pogue and Dave Sparrow! It was sooo much fun, we had front row seats! The only thing that would have been better is if You and Mommy could have also been there with us but you of course couldnt because the fireworks would hurt your ears really bad! However the night surely did go out with a BANG! I guess the only bad part of this weekend was that Mommy, Anna, Kim, and Katie were sick therefore you couldnt play with them after they had traveled soooo far!

Weekend Number THREE: This weekend was what we call EASTER WEEKEND!! Wasn't it fun and rather intresting!? Starting off, Friday night we had some really bad storms what a horrible way to start off the weekend! Mommy had taken you to go get your pictures taken with the Easter Bunny. About the time you had finished with your pictures Grandpa and me had to call her to warn her that there was a Tornado Warning for our area and to get home and get to the basement ASAP! And... since you know me very well you know that I FREAK out whenever there is ANYTHING said about a Tornado therefore I was flipping out!! Fortunately there was NO Tornados that touchdowned anywhere near us! PAISE THE LORD!! After what we thought was the last Tornado Warning we went to sleep hoping to get a great nights rest which is exactly the opposite of what we got! Around 3AM Saturday morning I heard the sirens going off so I huried as fast as I could to go wake up you, Mommy, and Daddy so that we could go to the basement at this point once again I was freaking out and on top of that I was tired and COLD! Once again thankfully no tornados occured and we went peacefully back to bed. Saturday morning WHEN we woke up we had breakfast as a family and then ran some airens. Saturday night was our Easter Service at Southland so you got all "dolled" up in your Easter attire and boy didnt you look cute.... As Always! After church we met the whole family at Tony Romas where we had an amazing dinner. Saturday Night I made some "test" cupcakes to get an idea of how I will make your cupcakes this coming weekend for your Birthday! After a busy day we settled down and went to bed where we suprisingly had a peaceful nights sleep! Sunday Morning we woke up as usual but this time we went downstairs we had a gift basket from the Easter Bunny! It was your first Easter!! In your basket you recieved some animal crackers, pajamas, candy, necklaces, head bands and much more! In My basket I recieved South Pacific the movie (which is the musical i'm currently working on), chocolate, candy and more candy! It was one sugary basket!! However I believe you were a little jelous that you didnt get a chocolate bunny! But, it's okay i'll share with you! :) After opening our Easter baskets we went to Nana and Papaws for Easter Lunch. You had sooo much fun! And the food... It was AMAZING!!! You ate.... ALOT! After we had visited Nana and Papaws for awhile we went to Grandma and Grandpas for an Easter Egg Hunt! You had alot of eggs none of which the candy inside you could eat but you still had fun finding them! This Easter weekend was one I will NEVER forget!

Weekend Number FOUR: AWWW!!!! Now we are up-to-date! This weekend has been a fun one! This weekend we have been celebrating Daddy's Birthday which is today, May 1st. Saturday You, Mommy and Daddy went to Chilis to eat lunch and then you all came home. After you were home we did some yard work then began getting ready to go to Aunt Lyndis where we were having a Birthday Party for Daddy! We grilled out Pork Tenderloin and had corn and Baked Potatoes to go with it! It was really good! After that we had Birthday Cake and then ended the night with that occasional cousin bathtime which you love!! This morning we went to church and then went to Copper River, one of our favorite restaurants, for Daddys Birthday Lunch as a family! After that You, Mommy, and Daddy went to Sams while I stayed home to type this. Now you are all home and ..... ASLEEP like they always say after a good meal comes a good nap! I have to say that this weekend has been amazing and that next weekend will be the same with me having shows and then celebrating your birthday! I can't wait!
